Backend Developer (Node.js)

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Backend Developer (Node.js) to join its team for working with a company from Cyprus.

The customer is a leading B2B casino and sportsbook platform provider, renowned for its branded gamification engine that enhances player engagement across casino and sports domains. With over 60 brands and licenses in multiple jurisdictions, it offers a universal suite of products and services.

The project is developing a B2B casino and sportsbook platform.

Responsibilities:
- Developing an in-house platform.
- Integrating 3rd party APIs.
- Actively participating in developing new features from scratch.

Must-haves:
- Experience in development for 5+ years.
- Commercial experience with Node.js and Nest.js for 3+ years.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and the ECMAScript 6 standards
- Commercial experience of implementing REST, GraphQL and WebSocket.
- Understanding of the TDD principles and experience of writing tests.
- Commercial experience of working with high loaded SQL or NO SQL databases.
-️ Understanding of microservice architecture principles.
- Experience of GIT version control system.
- Experience with databases MongoDB, MySQL.
- Experience with RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Redis.
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on experience developing over CI/CD/Micro Services architecture/Containers for 2+ years.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with NATS.
- Experience with TypeScript.
