Andersen is hiring a Go Developer for a global insurance leader. The project involves core product development, integrations, and payment-related processes, driving digital transformation and sustainable solutions.

Our customer is a global leader in the insurance and assistance sector, offering a wide range of international solutions across various domains including health, life, travel, and automotive services. The organization is committed to delivering cutting-edge, agile IT solutions while driving digital transformation and sustainability across its operations.

The project is carried out by several development teams responsible for core product functionality, system integrations, and processes related to payments and payment requests.

Responsibilities:

• Building a cutting-edge real-time cross-selling platform.
• Taking ownership of the backend that powers multiple user-facing apps, advancing our state-of-the-art gRPC-based microservice architecture.
• Actively participating in code reviews to ensure that our platform and codebase meet the highest quality standards.
• Taking a proactive role in all aspects of platform design and development, with a strong emphasis on scalability and availability.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a Go Developer for 1,5+ years.
• Solid experience with Golang, Docker, Postgres, RabbitMQ (or Kafka), gRPC, REST API, and Backend testing.
• Understanding of Grafana/Prometheus functions and using these services during development.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, fostering collaboration, and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building Go applications with a focus on resilience and uptime.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have

• Experience of working with Nomad, Consul, Jaeger, Consul, OpenSearch, Sentry (or with similar tolls and services).
