Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and/or Playwright
• Design, implement, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies
• Identify, record, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution
• Enhance existing automation frameworks and propose new solutions to improve efficiency
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Provide detailed reports on test results and quality metrics
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in automated testing
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in automated testing

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks, specifically Cypress and/or Playwright
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (other languages are a plus)
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• 2-4 years of experience in automated quality assurance
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining automated test suites
• Experience in testing web applications across multiple browsers and devices
• Ability to analyze complex systems and design comprehensive test plans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
